Vroon Offshore Services (VOS) and Boston Putford Offshore Safety (BPOS) terminate safety standby cooperation in Southern North Sea Sector

VOS and BPOS wish to annouce that their joint vessel usage agreement for emergency response and rescue vessels in the Southern North Sea Sector is to be terminated. Under this agreement BPOS has managed five fully owned and two jointly owned vessels for VOS since 1996.
It has been agreed that the two jointly owned vessels, MV Nova and MV Putford Viking, will be transferred to the ownership of BPOS.
Management of the five fully owned vessels will be transferred to VOS during the coming weeks and months. At their next dockings, all five vessels will be renamed, reflagged to the Liberian flag and painted in Vroon colours.

Ship management will be handled by VOS B.V. in Den Helder, while VOS Ltd. in Aberdeen will remain responsible for marketing the vessels in Southern North Sector. With over 65 emergency response and rescue vessels in service, Vroon Offshore Services will now offer a full range of services in all North Sea sectors as well as in the Irish Sea.
