VOS Traveller – Namegiving Ceremony

We are pleased to announce that the Namegiving Ceremony for the VOS Traveller took place today, Wednesday 28 May 2008, at the Maaskant Shipyard in Stellendam, Netherlands. The vessel was christened by Mrs G.J. van de Velde-de Wilde, Mayor of Goedereede.
The VOS Traveller is an Emergency Rescue and Response Vessel (ERRV) for safety standby and is the last in a series of four vessels built at Damen for the Dutch continental shelf.
The vessels will be operated by Vroon Offshore Services, the leading supplier of ERRV services in the North Sea and, in particular, on the Dutch and UK continental shelves.
